The more he's winning, the more the odds get higher...interesting..
I had the chance to watch Tsonga-Almagro where the French player was again an underdog and even though he was looking like trailing when the rallies were going longer, still Tsonga won the match and this is the purpose of the game.
I will say it again - Tsonga's serve is a major weapon whatever the surface.
His forehand - the same. He is agressive, he moves fast enough to turn around his Bh (which has improved a lot and he got a lot of sharo angled balls yesterday) and even though his movement on clay is far from perfect, he can outpower many of the suposed clay specialists.
Almagro was one of the guys in hot form and clay oriented, Ferrero is the same.
Of course Mosquito is more experienced and could eventually convert better his BP oportunities, though his serve i believe is on a lower level than Almagro's and the same break oportunities will arise for the Frenchman.
2-0 H2H for Jo, both on faster courts, last one in Miami just few days ago 6-2 6-2.
Result smashing enough to be easily recuperated by the effect of the slower surface.
This has to be another tight match where TBs eventually will get the matter solved and i believe Tsonga has better chances to come out as a winner than the odds suggest.
Let's not forget the crowd too, as if there is one player it has impact on, it surely is Tsonga.
